"Producing" is one of the most mysterious of all the roles played in creating entertainment. However, central to the process of raising and spending money for new concepts is the need for vision and extreme organizational skill. Prior to the age of 29, Ben Robinson was produced as a one man show, wrote an award-winning book and trekked 150 miles to the Base Camp of Mount Everest...all three accomplishments made possible because of his uncommon facility to research and organize vast amounts of information involving money, travel, talent and time. He is particularly known for is his unerring attention to detail and his acumen for putting the right talent with the right project. Partial producing credits:

| Ben Robinson has also written, directed and sometimes appeared in nearly 100 industrial videos. His projects span directing the employees of American Cyanamid (military contractors) in a rap song, to taking a dangerous fall backwards into a pyramid of Del Monte canned peaches, to sending tools flying like alien ships in video kiosks at The Home Depot. | |

Eight months of production, and 10 hours of footage has been made into a 3-minute movie about New York's leading producer of underground dance music, captured through the lens of Ben Robinson. In addition to having a CD in the top ten of dance music albums at Virgin Stores internationally, HipBone also gives a killer live show. HipBone President Ray Grappone "pushed the button" on this project so HipBone can branch out to more national appearances. Grappone and Robinson met in Germany in 1986 while performing in Mannheim. HIPBONE LIVE! covers performances of HipBone recording artists Alexis P. Suter, Dana Jared, Filthy Rich, Elsa Cornish and Glenn Turner (among others). Set to the beat of their current hit Love Life, the film depicts HipBone artists in the finest clubs and industry events, as well as headlining at The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (Aug. 2000). |
